The Gant House has long welcomed travelers as they ventured across America.

In its history, the Gant house served as the residence of Nelson T. Gant and the site of strawberry socials and gatherings. In later years the house greeted visitors as a tavern and restaurant. 

Through the combined efforts of community members, churches and area businesses, plans were developed to acquire the property and return it to near original condition.

Today you can see the charm and feel the warmth of the Gant home place.
